Whirlwind terracer built by Servis Co Dallas, Texas. I have 2 of those but not in that well preserved condition. IHC also had their name on a similar terracer but I think it was a rebadged Servis brand

This particular unit is badged as a Servis Whirlwind Dallas TX. More than likely owned by the local Agriculture Conservation Service until its' demise. Pulled out of the old shed and restored in 2020.

Lot of those were built in Dallas. Farmers and people contracted to build terraces in 40-50. They were building terraces after the dust bowl to control erosion. My farm still has them. It was a cotton field until the 60s and now in grass and I run cattle. I was born here.
