Lot of variables depending on size and type of trees. Large true firs 400-600 a day doing good. 5'-8' Douglas fir could break 1000 with a good crew. Usually 6 to 7 man crew. Mostly had more modern balers than the one pictured. My joints are aching just thinking about those days. I'm sure some of the big growers that helicoptered everything to a yard to process did a lot more than that.

Yes. A crew loading slings in the field and hooking up, pilot dumps in the yard. We baled in the field, hauled to truck loading area with tractors and trailers. Used a Farmi forwarder on a JD 6410 for larger Noble for.
