Found this in the toolbox on the super 88. Kinda rusty but I haven’t seen one in close to 40 years

Dad had a couple of them when he had to put the rear wheels out to mount a corn picker on the 560. You insert them into the top part of the rear wheel hub once you have the hub loosened up. They act as rollers to move the hub to what ever width you want.
 
Yes, for moving rear wheels on the axle. My Godfather gave me one for x-mas when I was about 8 years old. I said Thankyou but what is it. When he told me I thought what the hell am I going to use it for.
So he could borrow it from you when he needed it!
