white 2-85 tires

my 1979 white has 18.4 x 38 rears and 750x18 on the front. looking things up on here and find its listed with 18.4x34 rears and 9.5l x15 on front. why the difference or is it a year change thing? I wanted the wider front tires 9.5x15 for the front cause of the loader. so will these go with the taller rear 38" tires?

If you have a manual, it'll list a variety of different tire sizes for both front and rear. 11L-15 was a common size and would give you some extra float, but wood be a little shorter than your 18's. There was also a 16" iron like either a 10.00-16 or an 11.00-16.
