I have a woods belly mower on my Allis chalmer B the mower model is L42AC B&C. I've been searching for the proper belt size I found anywhere from 142 inches to 160 something anybody know the correct size thanks

I don't know about now- but the Woods website used to be very good about providing information. I recall it took some digging, but they provided manuals specific to different tractor applications which included assembly, parts, and pictures.

Use a piece of twine have someone hold the end and then you have the right measurement.

Any information on the old belt?
Measure the length of the old belt.
I have gotten kevlar belts off Amazon for my 6 ft woods rear mount, worked just fine.
If the belt doesn't fit there's absolutely no hassle returning it..
Most places in town don't stock Kevlar belts. They are special order and no refunds if the belt is the wrong size.

Ours uses a B225, on a Farmall C, but every tractor and how it's set up will be different. We measured around the old belt while it was on the mower, that worked well for us. I taped the end of a 100 ft tape measure to the belt, and we rotated it around all the sheaves until it came back to us.

Thanks for the input folks I think I'll just use the string method once the new bearings in the pulleys.
