Got old corn planter out of the barn ,we have no used it for maybe 55 years . So been interesting the things that happen when you start a
project like this . I got the manual for it. And that makes it very easy to recognize the order of things. Sometimes not so much!
Any here are the issues I see so far.
Fertilizer unit: rusted out hopper, cast bottom cracked . Cast door feeder frame cracked at door guides ,thunder
Paint ,rust frame
Chain drive on lest side binding.
Boot is separated allows dirt and fertilizer lodging ,clean out and repaint without breaking cast frog .
