My tractor - yanmar 2210d - stopped running and i traced it to the fuel pump. I took the pump out and rebuilt it using all the same components. i put it back in the tractor and it started fine. but keep blowing black smoke and the level that controls the throttle won't shut the engine off. it actually doesn't do anything. i have to shut off the fuel filter switch to get it to stop. i noticed the little port at the top of the fuel injection pump where the fuel comes into the pump has 4 little holes around it and depending on how tight you screw that port in, different holes line up. i used washers to align the largest hole with where the fuel comes in. Any idea what could be causing this?
