I have a Zenith carb # 10445, that I was going to put a kit in, but the float is full of gas. So, I took my spair carb from the shelf, and it's float is full also. So, does any one have just floats to sell<not full of gas>, or can you help me thru the re-soldering project. Where do I start? And what should I do, and what not to do. Thanks

I help a neighbor with his old Case 430 gasser and his carb was the same as an 800 Ford went to New Holland and they had one in stock. Case could have ordered it for about the same price I thing it was $16. But quit fighting the old one and get a new one. The old one we had we soldered and resoldered finally just went the new one. bjr

Well, if you decide to repair it, and you get all the gas out of it, don"t try to dry up the last little bit by heating it, thinking the fumes will escape fast enough out of where the gas leaked in...they won"t...
