Destroked 450. Actually the tractor was in pretty good shape and well maintained. I've been trying to get a pusher snowplow mounted and that caused me problems. Bern; Thanks for your reply. When I took it apart there was a black rv like seal around the o ring, actually it was a flat rubber washer, and the hoses had a plumber's seal around them. Thanks again, Gary -

Ford 3000 power steering pump
Greetings YTers; Finally getting ready to mount my pump. I have 2 questions. First, there's an o ring gasket between the pump and block. Does this get any gasket seal? Second question. When reattaching the 2 metal fluid pipes do they get sealer or pvc tape around the threads? Thanks, Gary -

Ford 8n Snowplow Width
I have 3 of the Dearborn and Ford plows. I've welded 16 inch extensions on the right side of all 3. Works like a charm, don't run over the newly plowed snow. Supported extensions cost $50. and neighbor blacksmiths welds them on. It's the way to go. Gary- g ostby

Shaun: Now I'm confused again . Is this an O ring or a flat gasket ? Part #22 is a round Oring and fits in a machined groove. This part doesn't have a groove ,just a flat surface. Do I need a n O ring or a flat gasket? Gary -

JOEM; Thanks for the help. I just ordered the gasket # 35. I previously ordered the new pump but it didn't have a gasket. Then I ordered a gasket set which had many O rings but no gasket. Maybe this will allow me to finish the pump problem. This should allow me to run my front snow plow. Thanks... -

Greetings YT'ers; I bought a new power steering pump and the forward end has a large gear on the end where it bolts to the motor . That surface has a metal to metal contact surface. No gasket was on the pump when I removed it but there was a very small amount of gasket seal present. No place for... -

3000 gas power steering pump
My problem stems from disconnecting it from the rear not the front. Easy peasy from the front. I bought a new pump on internet but no gaskets were included. Now I'm waiting for a gasket. Thanks, Gary -
