256 Diesel No Start Rebuild

I just got done installing my rebuilt 256 diesel on my Ford 5000. Cannot get it to bleed fuel. Cranked multiple times no smoke or anything. Bled filter, CAV pump, and lines. Filter and pump seem to bleed fuel nicely. Lines are appear to have weak/slow flow and bubbles. Any ideas?

Make sure your fuel shutoff lever is fully forward - I've seen that overlooked more than once. Otherwise, sticky metering valve inside the pump would be my guess. Easy fix after removing the top cover.

The output at the injector lines is very very small, so when you start seeing drops, it time to tighten it up. ITs very very very small quantities. Did I say its very small?

Bern - Can I disconnect those steel lines and plug them and still turn engine on?
