4500 TLB brake rod seal

Am replacing the brake rod seal on my Ford 4500 TLB and would like to know if the brake rod stays in place, connected to the wet brake or is it removable after disconnecting the clevis ?

The brake rod cannot be removed from the out side however you can replace the seal without removing the rod.

Thanks, I was concerned about the brake rod coming out , then not being able to get it back in place properly .

Get the new rod seals from New Holland, the cheap aftermarket ones fail quickly.
