PTO removal on RTU

I would like to remove the PTO shaft on an R. Wondering if I can just remove the two bolts in back and pull it out. Or is there a retaining clip or bolt inside somewhere if so what needs to be pulled apart to find it. Thanks.

I just replaced a PTO in an RTU. You will have to remove the top cover of the transmission and a side cover to get at the nut that holds it in place. There is also a few additional parts that have to come out with it. It’s not that hard of a job I guess. If you have a manual, just remove it in reverse order of how they show how to install it.
