Does anyone know how many JD 530 LP Propane Two Cylinder tractors were built? Thank you in advance

Never saw one and did not know they even made one. Hardly any LP tractors ever in my area. Actually only ever knew of 1 tractor and it did not last on the farm very long.

Do you happen to know the month by month production for the John Deere Model D in 1929? Trying to narrow down the month mine was produced in since the two cylinder club serial number research seems to be no longer a thing.

You may want to start a new thread with your question, since it involves a different model of tractor. Not everyone will see it here.

LP was widely used in this area, central Kansas, in the '40-'60 years. We never used one but had a neighbor who was running two MM model U tractors in 1961 when I worked for him a couple of years. He traded one of them M-M U's for a new 4010 LP tractor in about 1961. Also had an uncle who farmed with two Case LA propane tractors during those years and I helped him on several occasions.

LP was common in Texas too even as late as the 70s. All our extended family had LP tractors (JD 50, 60, three 730s, and a 4020). We didn't get a Diesel tractor until a 4440. With Diesel prices the way they are now, our old LP tractors are sure looking nice.

Jim - your addition of the sums of each of the reported totals of those three years shown in the Production Log is correct, but take a look at the 1960 monthly production numbers of 1, 17, 27, 36 and 2 which actually add up to 83, not the reported total of "65".... This isn't the first time I've noticed apparent discrepancies (errors??) in the Production Log.... So the question is - how many "530LP" tractors were actually made during the 1960 Production Year - was it the sum of the monthly totals which is 83, or is it the reported "total" of 65??
