This ain't a life changing choice by any means...
I scrapped a walk in safe door and frame this spring.
It had been outside for 25 years and was rusted badly.
But being a tinkering, thinkering kind of guy, I kept the combination lock. I figured out the combination once - 25 years ago. Wasn't hard, could do it again. The guts inside are in nice shape yet - no corrosion, etc.
It's solid brass. Weighs 2 1/2 ? pounds.
Would you scrap it or use it for something?
If use it, for what?
