3 point cylinder removal

AC 185....how do I remove this pin? I assume there's a c-clip on the other side but I can't access it?

There is a hairpin clip on the inner side,it's kind of hidden but it's there. I don't remember if I used a hook or along reach pliers but it just pulls out. You may have to get underneath it to see how to get at the clip but it's there. The clip is in a kind of boxed in area but should be there, then just pull the pin. The ones I've done have pulled out pretty easy.

I've had success in the past on those hard to reach pins by passing a length of wire through it to give leverage to pull.

Thanks gentlemen I ended up removing the battery box ,way easier to see what's going on in there. Cylinder's out now I just have to order kit. Any suggestions?

Take it to a good hydraulic shop and get them to match up the seals. Will probably be way less than a kit.

Jim, if you have the later style cylinder I'm pretty sure I've the seals here for one side, They are genuine Agco parts. I ordered them for my buddies 185 and only ended up resealing one side. the part #s are 70253346 & 70253347. Check Agco parts listing if they're the ones you need I'm sure we can come up with a deal. I will have to verify in the morning that they're still here. Bob

Thanks again for the help....ended up bringing it to a hydraulic shop in town, hopefully good for another fifty+ years
