Doing restoration on 1949 8N Ford; what is the best way to search this forum for info on 8N's so I do repeat or
duplicate a discussion?

Go down to the Ford 8N/2N/8N forum lower in the page and ask questions there. As for a restore are you doing a true restore or ju8st fixing it up?? A true restore is to bring it back to what it was the day it rolled out of the factory

Doing a restore, I am "trying" to save, repair all the original parts on the tractor. It is a 1949 8N and I am the second owner. Purchase from a family member. I am trying to watch and read as much info as I can but still am running into some minor problems. I did go to the forum in the lower page thank you for the reply

Welcome to the forums.

The search feature doesn't always work the best. Sometimes you can web search/google the topic you want to search and add Yesterday's tractors to the end of your search words, that sometimes has fair results.

Don't worry about duplicating things it goes on all the time. Often starting a new thread of your own with your questions will get more and better answers than tagging a reply on an old thread.

Thank you looking to get some helpful directions while working on my 8N
As has been mentioned the Ford 9N, 2N & 8N Forum is a good place to ask your questions and look for info.

Get the manuals for it, study them, and just jump into it. When you have a question, ask it. The better you describe things the better the responses you will get. Be prepared for some replies that are right on and some that stray from the path.

And pictures are always helpful and appreciated.
