Oil filter canister seal.

Question for those of you own Ford tractors that have the oil filter mounted horizontally in a canister on the side of the engine. Is there a rubber seal under the baffle and also above the baffle to seal the canister? When I removed mine it only had one covering the edge of the baffle and sealing the canister, seems kind of iffy weather that would seal although it was working. Previous owner did some questionable things.

Guessing 4 cyl. No gasket under baffle , just the one that seals canister.

I have one. What is the baffle?

You don't say which model but if you can, get the spin on filter adapter. Much easier for changes and FL 1 filters are readily available.
