What constitutes an emergency

Local sale barn has a labor day sale and Bonnie and I stopped in. They had some bottle calves there. I said I didn't want to pay the going price on those. Bonnie said she had some money in an emergency fund.

Guess these were an emergency. Lol. Prices on cattle are crazy high.

One of the few statements I agree with, Dave Ramsey said if you can write a check for it and go on your merry way it’s not an emergency. I do not agree with much of his rambling on but once you reach that point life will be good.
