Friend has this in the woods behind her house. Haven’t seen it yet. Any ideas what it might be?

Oliver kid nailed it. I pulled it out with the help of my come-along and a sturdy tree. It’s pretty far gone, going to reclaim some of the steel for whatever projects I can work it into.

That Plowmaster is pretty well picked over. The standards, that curve down to the frogs, make good hooks for straightening barns. You can hook them around most any size beam & they'll pull quite a bit of weight.

Those old 7s which were the Rooster comb lift versions and the 7-A clutch lifts like that one used to be as common as rocks around here when I was a kid. Between wear parts being hard to come by and the fact that the hitch geometry really only makes them work well behind a fordson or a similar low slung tractor like that, nobody really wants them and they have been disappearing as fence rows and farms get cleaned out. I wouldn’t mind finding one if it was a nice original just to have but there really aren’t any nice ones to be had.

That plow had some of the most robust steel I've seen in any implement.

Mine is only being used as a yard ornament. If oliverkid could come up with something else appropriate I could use on top the old silo pit I would trade you no charge.
