Water tank outlets

Am in need to install an input junction on our gray and black tanks on our RV. Are there blind hole inlet/outlet connectors for1/2 inch pipe thread & where can they be found? I have looked through many of the suppliers on line but seen nothing un less I put in the wrong information.

I honestly cannot decipher what a "blind hole inlet/outlet connector" might be.
A 1/2" pipe in the gray/black is mighty small for a drain line.

Maybe you are looking for 1/2" pipe thread "saddle" fitting to add to the side of a drain line going to the tank, not the tank itself?

Aren't those tanks typically very thin polyethylene?

This is pretty much going to be the only option for the "no inside access" and is the type the RV manufacturers typically use:

Cheap fittings, expensive tool unless you can fabricate your own. Easy enough to fabricate if you have a lathe and mill.

Short of that, you can empty and clean out the tank and install a bulkhead fitting, but only IF you have sufficient access to the interior.

One other thought - You could use the conventional through wall fitting even if you don't have hand access to the target location. You could drill the hole in the side of the tank and then feed in something like a steel electrical fish tape to reach to the opening where you do have access and then slide the inside part of the flange onto the fish tape to slide down to the hole and wiggle until you get it through the hole and can install the outside nut (put the outside nut over the fish tape first so it's ready).

Well the tanks are not easy to reach in the black tank through the outlet ///BUT the gray is inaccessible >>So need a side port on both tanks so there must be a "fasten on" or glue in threaded fitting threaded for 1/2 inch pipe.

I have access to the black tank on my RV through the commode. Have no idea how to access the gray tank.

Again, the spin-weld fittings are what the RV manufacturers use and the fittings themselves are cheap. The installation tool is expensive to buy but simple to make if you or a friend have some tools.

Menards flange

This common flange could be mounted with moly expanding bolts for thin walls. Using Sikaflex 291 sealant. a bushing would take it down to your size. Jim

I agree with BlackHole and caannot figure out why you need to do this? Is your RV some kind of home made contraption? That sounds like a hazard on the highway as well as in the campground. If you need enhancement or repair I suggest you use the manufacturer or dealer.

Many home built campers are better built than commercially built ones, e.g. most RV manufacturers use axles and tires that just barely meet the claimed GVW rating and the real loaded for a typical trip weight exceeds the ratings.

Thank you people for your replies to the question I now will look up the NIBO flange form plumbing supplier near me.
I knew there had to be something to fit the "bill" for the situation presented by the gray and black tank on our 2002 Coachmen Mirada RV.
