Single Stick John Deere G ??

Hi guys. Did they ever make a single stick(straight six) John Deere G? If so, I dont believe I have ever seen one. How can you tell visually, whether or not the tractor has the creeper gear?

I wonder why? But anyways, any idea how many came with a creeper gear and how to visually tell if it has a creeper gear or not? I heard it was an optional upgrade...

Nope, even my 70 has 2 shift levers

No, Deere never made a shingle shift lever G. According to the history that I've read, Deere considered it but at the time the sales of the G weren't anywhere as good as the A and the B had been done a few years before. So it was decided to not upgrade the G to those of the A. This included things like enclosing the flywheel, stream lining the frame, and the big one, changing the transmission to a single shift lever. In the end Deere felt that the investment would not be worth the return, especially with the number series already in the design phase.
