( I previously posted this on Implement Alley form in August... no takers )
Howdy Gents and Gals,
I have a complete and intact 1952 John Deere #5 sickle mower to share with anyone who might want to restore it. It has been under cover for years, except the last two… my bad. Still has most of the original paint AND decals. Even comes with the PTO shield, which is straight and green. I should also mention it has the less common 5' sickle bar.
I have a 1937 #5 semi permanently mounted on my ‘41B so this ’52 unit is actually in the way.
I am willing to share this with a YT’er for FREE; however, it must be picked up at my farm in Washington state. If one of you commits, I can keep it here for up to 9 months ( I’ll try to get it under cover ).
I make no demands but my wish is that one of you will choose to clean it up and use it on your property and not just sell it… I could do that myself.
Plenty of pictures to share by text.
Call (360) 219-6458 and we can visit,
Fr. Bob
