Hi i am attempting to save my grandads old tractor from the scrap pile
Having trouble identifying it
Can anyone help?

Its definitely bigger than my 3600 but have no idea what it actually is

Update, has no starter motor and is missing a Welsh plug so has no coolant, but managed to tow start it today and it ran surprisingly well, clutch is stiff but works brakes a below average but work kinda, and hydraulics seem to work okayish couple leaks and watery oil but recon its worth the effort

prob 51017c a ford 5000 all purpose, that has been heavily modified probably by another company... its a diesel, no 3pt? no pto? and 8 sp trans..

Yeah diesel, no pto or 3pt, definitely been modified, dont believe any of the attachments are factory

I've seen one of those attachments before on an old junk tractor.I believe you will find a scarifier beam across the back.It will have a bunch of holes across it for the shanks.The loader,grader blade,and scarifier was a package.The name of the manufacturer won't quite float to the top.My Ford tractor mechanic friend had one to restore,but found a Dearborn grader conversion,so he sold the small unit off.

Yeah didn't run it long but just wanted to be sure it ran before getting too far into it , but knowing grandad he probably ran it like that

Has BATCO on the side, couldn't see a serial plate or anything
And definitely has holes for shanks just packed solid with dirt

I'm thinking my friends unit may have been made by Lull.I do remember it had a tag on it,not a logo cast into it.Units like that were probably made by a half dozen different manufacurers.I haven't seen it since he sold it in the late 90's,so I could have it wrong.I do remember it had a fairly narrow bucket,and the grader blade had more curve it than the one pictured.It MAY have had an extended front axle bolster,because I almost think there was an extension riveted to the hood.The scarifier beam looked EXACTLY like that one,and had two pistons to operate it.He bought it from a local scrap guy,so no clue where it came from.

Not a 5, serial number is early 75 Export number so probably an E
I have 7 for independent 540 pto (non sos) but with the number of modifications done it likely started life as a standard equipped ag tractor
Looks like they used a 5200 row crop hood to cover the oil tank on the front end extension
