I bought a Delco AGM from Summit Racing a $100 below any local dealer.
I read you should only use AGM battery in newer cars with Start/Stop feature.
I replaced my car's battery with the same Delco AGM battery it came with.
I've gotten away from wet cell batteries because they are prone to corroded terminals.

I have bought a few FVP sealed lawn mower batteries from Menards. I look for the larger sealed mower battery. They last longer and the acid doesn't splash out.
Every spring Rural King and Menards have a sale on mower batteries. I will buy extra mower batteries when on sale. Mower batteries only go bad when the battery is not on sale.
The FVP batteries do not have one single manufacturer. Most of the batteries they sell are produced by ATLASBX America Corporation and Exide.
BTW, I take my Midtronics conductivity tester to the store and buy the best battery.
This tester can also detect a defective cell.
Each to their own. That's all I have to say about that. Forrest Gump.
