ID these 2 IH mowers

Just Bought the fast hitch one at auction and the other one with the trailer wheel was given to us years ago. Just wondering what models they are since I can't find any ID on them.

The fast hitch one is a 100. The one with the tailwheel is a 120.

Thanks for the info. When I did some searching on these mowers I thought those model numbers might be correct but saw other similar mowers that raised some doubts. Do any of these mowers have ID tags or did they have decal or painted on model numbers?

Barnyard is right. The decals on those mowers are on the wobble box. On your 100 mower, it would be facing down, opposite the cutterbar. You can see the remnants of the decal in the second pic of the 120 if you look in the lower LH corner of the image. Also, the 120 may actually be a model 1000, if the belt guard is original. They're all relatively the same thing.

IH made several (if I was in the mood for hyperbole, I'd say "about a bazillion") variations of the balanced head mower. 3pt, fast hitch, belly, trailing, with and without tailwheel... and they kept changing the model numbers over the years to imply "upgraded models."

I watch pete occasionally. I was thinking his mower was similar to these.

the wobble shaft for a 100 is lighter (less steel) than the wobble shaft for a 1000. I have one of both models and found out when they each broke the shaft.
