I need a power steering pressure line AT16192. John Deere want $250+ Does any one have an altenative to replacing this line?

What's wrong with it, cracked or broken, or has a hole worn in it?

Looks like it's an all steel line near the steering gear. What's wrong with it, endless numbers of similar lines have been repaired by brazing, or even brazing a new section into the line. (Probably NOT "OSHA Approved" but commonly done on ag equipment.)

Or, a fully-equipped hydraulic shop should be able to make you a new one, or make a hose to replace it (even if the ends of the old line are "special" they can typically be salvaged and attached to the new line).
 
It's steel on both end with a section of rubber tubing in the middle. The rubber a 1' long crack that has a hign leak. The JD replacement appears to have elininated the rubber center section
