I have this belt pulley that I got and was wondering what it would be from? The serial number that I could make out is FT48. Any input is appreciated.

We had a sawmill 1950ish that was an antique mill at that time. The mandrel was 3" diameter and some 8' long. The carriage drive mechanism was driven by such a pulley - located mid-point on the mandrel. It would be a huge task to remove that pulley by sliding it lengthwise off the mandrel. A pulley like yours solved that problem.
