Key switch

Does anybody have a wiring harness or can you tell me how to wire up a 4 prong key switch like the one in the picture? Thanks

The terminals are marked,, do you not understand the abbreviations or not have a clue about hooking it up?
Batt- hot wire from battery
Acc- all accessories except ignition
Ign- to + post of coil
S or ST (can't see that one)- starter relay

Center terminal is "Start".

Ok sorry I'm guess my brain shut off for a minute. this is a positive ground system so I have the "b" labeled side going to the negative (hot) side of the battery and I have I going to the coil. Is the correct

In that case the wire from IGN should go to the - side of the coil and the + should be going to the points

silver king model 42 and nope has an old key switch but it was not wired up

Ok, glad to hear it. I don't know how that tractor is originally configured but if you had been doing this on your 8N, I was going to lecture you about why not to do it

It probably wasn't wired up because I believe the original were just button switches, and I've been wrong before.

I doubt that you have the correct switch. I think that you want to be switching just two terminals, but there is nothing wrong with two terminals on the switched terminal.

I figured it out. I guess I wasn't getting a good connection but now I got good spark. Now time to deal with fuel
