Wheel rake part needed

A neighbor has a BP4 Sitrex carry wheel rake that needs the left arm that holds the 4 rake wheels. He bought the rake and didn
t see the left arm is different from the right one. The Sitrex arm is longer than the right one that is off some other brand of rake. Just wondering if anyone has one sitting in the fence row that would want to sell the right arm. Hopefully someone near s.e. Ohio. He don't have a lot of money and is not doing a lot of hay (maybe 10 acres at most) He has not tried it yet but it looks to me like the right side being shorter would throw hay into the left side causing it to bunch up. Anybody got any suggestions or the part.

I would try ebay I had a Sitrex hay tedder and found the parts for it there with no problems.

No, they are completely different. One is quite a bit shorter and is bent different than the other. Might try adding a piece on it for him if he can't find one

I would advise him to try it. I'd bet it worked fine for the previous owner.

Most likely he will need to fabricate, or have fabricated, a replacement arm as a mirror image of the correct one, if it doesn't work.
