Unknown Plant ID .... continued .....

Earlier this spring I noticed some strange volunteer plants showing up in our garden area. I posted a photo here on YT (maybe Tales, not sure) and more than one YT'er ID'd the plants as Crab Grass. There were other suggestions as well as to what it was. I was pulling out onions today and noticed one of them had gone to seed. Photos below for you to look at again. That sidewalk block in the first photo is 30" from top to bottom. Any more possibilities or is it Crab Grass? Looks like a grain crop of some sort to me. Maybe from a bird feeding bell that was in the area?

Dan what app do you use? Looking for a good one that you take a pic and tell you what it is. Not sure if it exists
I'll second this. I have some native bushes on my high ground - I am clueless what they are but would love to know. I leave them because they distract rabbits from eating stuff I care about, but they have huge nasty thorns.

My wife has one of those phone apps. It identified a 50 year old Pecan in our son's yard as an American Elm. 😂

Oh! Thought you were talking about a factory.... ;)

It does look like a variety of cockspur.
