JI Case 211B Wiring

Hi,

Doing a little cleanup on a recently acquired 211B, I'm having issues with the new switch wiring. Could someone help me figuring out where to connect the different wires on the different poles on th ignition switch? I'm having troubles especially with the wire coming in from the regulator and the one from the charging indicator. Thanks for any help.

Should be three connections on the back of the key switch, hot coming in from solenoid, start wire going back to solenoid, and the third post feeds current when the key is on. The rest of the wires should connect there.

Thanks for the reply. I made a little drawing based on your comment. Since my switch has 4 poles, I'm thinking of using the ACC pole for the lights switch. Does this sketch makes any sense?

Normally ACC is a counterclockwise turn of the key to power what's connected to it. Check if it receives power while key is in run position. If not, you will have to use the run terminal for your lights. The light switch works best if it is a 3 position and wired with off, dash and rear lights, and 3rd position of dash, rear, and head lights. Night time open station farming is a battle with bugs and having the lights work this way lessens their attraction while being able to check engine and rear implement. Your usage may not need this but it's neat to have them work that way. Spent many hours night plowing this way with an 830.

Just took a look and Yes the ACC receives on run position as well as when in the counterclockwise position. Thanks for the input on the light switch, I don’t need the tractor at night but I might wires lights the way you described. Thanks again.
