Does anyone know or have a complete speed changer for sale for a DB walk behind ? I would like to add a speed changer to my 1951 DB. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing there aren't that many two-wheel folks around here. There are some other websites you could try, external_link or smokstak, for two. They have many different brand forums. The usual places like Facebook marketplace and ebay occasionally have DB parts. Posting a picture or two of your DB would help with interest. Finding a picture of what your speed changer looks like too. I'm not sure I know what one of those is supposed to look like. Best of luck.

Eek, not sure why that was changed to 'external link' was supposed to be my tractor forum .

It has been this way for years. You will find there are a number of sites that the software does not allow direct links to. Most are blocked as they were seen as competitors in the parts business (This forum site was started to support YT's parts business). There are some other websites blocked from being linked for unknown reasons. PartsASAP/YT owns the site, and they don't have to justify their reasons.

I'm not a DB man, (I have a Simplicity 2 wheeler) but I bet there is a Facebook group for them or for all DB stuff in general.

Thanks for the suggestion Had no luck either on ebay or Facebook marketplace.
Check Ebay item numbers 177254341603 & 276823098796. First listing is for 2 parts tractors, one of which(one w/o hood) appears to have speed changer on it. Do not see the controls, but they might be available. No idea where you are or how you could arrange shipping, but something might be worked out. Second listing is for speed changer pulleys from later, larger tractor. Dont know if it will work on your tractor or where you might find the rest of it. However, seller claims he is liquidating his stock of parts. He might fix you up.

I have the remains of a David Bradley two wheel drive that I salvaged from my FIL's junk pile 20 years ago. It is piled with other stuff in my old barn waiting "for the next project"! Too late now. It looks like it had a multi-groove sheave for speed change.
Looks like it had a front sickle mower and a cultivator of some type. Of course all rubber is rotted and there is a very good chance of missing parts.
I think he bought it circa 1950.
This is in Iowa, about 20 miles south of Waterloo, near I380. Don't wear your Sunday clothes if you wish to pick it up free. 1 319 230 9243
