International 574 new power steering pump. Lines dont fit?

OK ill grab those at napa also.. thankyou all so much. Ill be sure to show what i did and post back sunday.
After thinking about this, I dimly remember that 'maybe' there were 2 different hand pumps on these tractors. Seems I remember changing one and that was the scenario-lines did not match up. Mark.

Not on the 74 series, I think they went to the newer style pump somewhere into the 84 series

It could be-I do not remember if it was an 84 or a 74 series anymore-just seems like the hand pump was different-I thinking I was robbing Peter to fix Paul. Mark.

Got everything hooked up, was a job but got it done. Long story short forgot the hydraulic oil at home . Have to go back down next weekend now. It had half fluid in it but im easily 4-5 gallon low. When i go to start it up, do i bleed the system from the rear axle bleeders at a higher RPM?

Also im thinking i might of got the wrong oil for it. I have NAPA tractor hydraulic oil. Is there a hytran equivalent thats not an arm and a leg? I know about the wet brake system so i dont want the wrong stuff in there.

Those bleeders are for the brakes, if the pedals go all the way down you’ll have to bleed them. Bleed the steering by turning it left all the way then right all the way then repeat 10-15 times. Might take more , you’ll feel it when it picks up the fluid.
Hyd fluid should be fine if it’s universal, utv

Great to know! Ill bleed brakes again.. They never stopped unless you were going under 5mph... Thing that scares me is a did dump a 5 gal bucket that was there of hydro fluid in it. Im hoping it works for wet brake system.

Tractor is done but steering still very tight. I did everything under the sun to my knowledge to bleed system. Steering is almost
Impossible to turn stationary but once you get moving it’s not bad at all. Had front end jacked up 6 times. Drove it almost 20 minutes. Not sure what to do next. Fluid is full.

Yes I did. This tractor did steer before pump replacement. Pump was replaced because it leaked horribly bad and was internally worn out. Forgot to mention that naturally when front end is jacked up its turns way easier obviously.
