Massey Ferguson throttle linkage

Hello, I have an older Massey Ferguson 135 gas three cylinder. I believe a 1969 or close. There is a spring on the throttle linkage that holds tension on the throttle bar.
My spring broke. I have a replacement but I cannot figure out where it hooks up. If anyone out there has a similar tractor. You would be willing to take a couple of pictures for me. That would be awesome.

I expect it would hook straight down from the lever, not off to the side. It should align wing the direction of lever travel.

I don't have a 135, but that same linkage on a MF35 hooks to a hole in the upper coolant inlet casting below the gas tank shelf.

Your tractors both have a 4-cylinder Continental gas engine, his is a 3-cylinder Perkins gas. They are not the same. You are looking at the front of your engines; his picture is at the rear of the engine.

Looking at the parts book, it appears the spring may go across to the left side, rather than down. After some searching, I found a picture that should help you. It appears the spring goes to the L bracket on the left.

Thank you so much. Yes I did see see this bracket and I did try and connect the spring that I bought in this manner. However the spring I bought, there is no way I can stretch it that far even using spring pullers. I have another spring on the way and I'll see if I can get that one to work. Thank you for confirming the location, that helps a lot.
