John Deere 3005, hydraulic issues

The front end loader on the 3005 will not lift at all, it will tilt. I am assuming this a hydraulic pump issue. My question is does it have a hydraulic pump and a power steering pump. It appears there are two pumps that are joined together, or is this considered 1 pump. Thanks

The same hydraulic pump should provide hydraulic pressure and flow to both loader functions. This means if one function such as the curl or tilt as you call it works the other should have hydraulic pressure and flow available to it as well. Is this unit operated by a single handle joy stick? If so it is more likely that the manipulation of the valve is carried out by cables between the joystick and the valves. If this is how it is made often the cables have problems such as sticking and no longer transmit the motion to operate the valves.
Also if the loader relies on quick couplers on the hydraulic hoses to make connections to the tractor sometimes they don’t get plugged in completely and pop out of position. This stops flow through that hose. I would suggest checking this as well.

I replaced the valve that the joystick operates, there are no cables on the valve. the joy tick is mounted directly to it. I don't understand why the loader will not lift. I'm going to remove the lines from the lift cylinder to make sure there is oil flowing to them, Thanks for your responce.

When the lever is moved do you hear a change in the noise of the hydraulics like it is loading the system or dead heading? Are there quick couplers between the valve and the cylinders? If so I would say one or both of them is not connecting properly to allow fluid flow.
