Farm clean out items in Jersey

Not from Iceland!
Came across this ad on FB, lots of old junk up for sale. A little too far and too junky even for me. What is the tractor? Allis? And the other item—home made sprayer? Can’t figure out the big drum on back.

It's about 10 miles from me. I agree on the tractor being an Allis. I don't think the sprayer is completely homemade. Maybe a converted power unit? It looks like there are guages in the front cowl. Any ideas on the engine? The down-draft carb is odd for an industrial engine. The oil filter setup seems odd as well. I think Waukesha, Ford, Continental, and Kohler all had the engine data tags about center of the block. Military maybe?

Air blast sprayer for an orchard. None of you guys are certified are you.
I would agree. lots of veggies grown around there so orchard or vegetable "fogger" the part in the back most likely had a big fan with sprayer nozzles to make the "fog". my thoughts anyway.

alot of guys back home used something similar (but more "modern" with wisconsin motor) to apply spray to watermelons and cantaloupe.

Being on the east coast Id be somewhat confident in betting that’s an Iron Age sprayer. That had a fairly large market share out that way.

The first loader on our farm was exactly that model. Dad had it installed brand new on a WD45. That was the big tractor at the time. When the WD45 got traded off the loader was retained and put on the WD, which grandfather had bought new in 1950. My cousin still has it.

Would y'all revisit this and tell me what I am seeing? Seed how far to the side the flat head 6 is? The drive shaft going through the tank is close to the side. The oil bath air cleaner atop the down draft carb almost looks like another engine beside the flat head 6. See how wide the front of the machine is? And the large oil bath air cleaner up front. Is that maybe for an updraft carb on the flat head 6?
