What socket for 1010 Hydraulic pump?

I'm not sure what tool to use for these flanged bolt heads. Can anyone point me in the right direction? This is the bottom of an hydraulic pump from a '63 1010 RU. The Part Number is E61791

E torx , 6 points sockets do not work on 12 point bolts/cap screws. Maybe if you drive them on with a big hammer but that risks damaging the head and the socket.

Six point SAE socket will not either.

I did not say that a six point socket would work. I simply stated that an E torx socket is the correct tool to use and posted a random photo to show what an E torx socket looked like. . I am sorry. I guess when you have been dumbed down so much that you can no longer think for yourself. Every little detail must be addressed..

My point is he does not need to chase special sockets. Regular 12-point sockets have worked on those fasteners for years. Been there done that on many pieces of equipment, starting before Torx was common.

That appears to be a 12-point spline drive socket you posted. Some call them triple square sockets.

I only addressed E Torx 6-point sockets. E Torx sockets are 6-point. E Torx is not 12-point. Please show a reputable manufacturer saying they are 12-point E Torx sockets.
