subsoiler completion pictures

A few pictures of my latest keep me out of trouble project. John Deere # 15 subsoiler. Disassembled and rebuilt the lift clutch. Wire wheeled and sanded the frame and the wheels. Primed and painted. I know before anyone comments that the wheels are not John Deere yellow, but I had a can of another shade in the cabinet. I still need to invent the perfect clevis ring to go from horizontal to vertical and have been scrounging around for the perfect piece of steel. No I am not going to pull it with the dozer, just the quickest hookup to get it to the little barn. I will pull it with the M Farmall. This was actually something to do while recovering from chemo and radiation. Doc. said to take it easy.

You're missing the chain that goes from the axle to that finger looking bracket behind the depth lever.
