Fuel cans that are easy to use

I love those "race jugs". If my "old school" square plastic cans ever bite the dust, I will replace them with "race jugs". My old ones are 40+ years old now. I have one NICE round 5 gallon galvanized can I got from a man at church when I was helping him clean out his garage. I and sure my son will end up with that galvanized can along with all of my other stuff

I just bought a couple of race jugs from Menards for $17 a piece. I've seen them for over $40 at some places and they look the same
except for a racing label. I love the large lid for filling at gas station.

Probably 30 or so years ago a friend of mine who was a custodian at school gave me 3 of these. They originally had some sort of cleaner or something in them that they used. I've been using them for gas ever since, and have no plans to stop. They work great.

I've had this funnel about that long also. No problems there either.

These are a bit pricey, but if you are adding fuel 5 gallons at a time, they really work! Top fill only, but invert the can into the fill, and a minute or so later you are done. The most difficult part is hoisting the can (in my case) to shoulder level, but so far, at age 70 it is still within my capabilities.

The air bleed hose is set in a way that works pretty well. I have been using them for 15 or so years and have been really happy.

I had a can the same as that. They get brittle over time and will crack.
