Got a new toy

[jon f mn]

This 580B was on an auction Saturday and I got the winning bid.

its a project, as most of what I buy is. Lol. Does not run and needs front spindles and a few other small things. It will sit in the project row til I have time to look at it. I pulled it home with the 1030.

That will be a mighty handy machine to have around the farm.

580, toughest backhoe ever made. Nice find!

Those are good hoes, i can't tell, gas or diesel, either way good machine.

@jon f mn just a thought but have seen a few of them with badly bent pushrods to the point of not running, pretty simple check and fix

There is one currently up on Graves auction out of Mazeppa. The cab looks goofy but they say it runs and drives. Looks to be in pretty good shape for its age. Anyone interested here's the link to check it out.
