Modifying cabs to fit other tractors

Built a couple of shade frames for neighbors tractors several years ago. Well before cabs became common. One was a IH 674 and one was a JD 4020. Used 2 inch medium thickness tubing and designed them to bolt onto top of the flattop fenders. Used plywood for top. With that design it would be easy to add front structure for full windshield and simply close in the side frames with lexan. Side doors would be easy fabricated also. Mount everything on rubber to prevent vibration. In cold weather you could keep the wind and weather off of you. Have a jd gator here with a 2 piece windshield. In winter I fold the bottom closed and it is amazing how warm it is by blocking the wind.

I've been doing some rough photoshopping and I think that this international year-a-round cab that's for sale will mostly fit. Platform's going to need to be raised but the platform is too far down for my feet to touch it to begin with, so that's not a huge deal.
The only company I've found that made a cab for these machines was Cozy cab, and I've called every salvage yard within a reasonable distance AND checked marketplace and have only seen trashed cabs so far...
It'll depend on all the measurements but this cab should be fairly easy to modify to fit.
did ford not make a cab for the 3600?

Only cozy cab did, but I haven't been able to find a cozy cab. Rather annoyingly, both cabs I was looking at sold so I'm back to square one in looking.

maybe a canopy would be a better choice if your already using ear pro
The problem is I also need it for snow clearing in the winter because using the snow blower last year left me soaking wet and covered head to toe in snow.

Yes they did, I am surprised.

Nebraska Tractor test #1221 is a Ford 3600 8 speed with a pretty factory quiet cab 83 dB (A).

Nebraska Tractor test #1203 is a Ford 3600 6 speed without a cab 94 dB (A).

It sounds like the OP cannot find a factory cab from another 3600. It could be that very few smaller tractors were purchased with a cab back in 1976.

That's the European model cab, those weren't sold here as far as I know. Every 3600 I've seen has been am open station. I've been searching for a cab for 4 months and have seen ONE cozy cab that'll fit, and every window was broken out of it. There have been a couple machines with cabs on them already but they were in excess of $10k with the cheapest one selling for $7500.

Ok, I was curious as cozy cabs seem to be rare where I am.

Sometimes smaller aftermarket manufacturers have limited capacity or limited number of dealers so they only sell in the region that they can supply rather than nationwide or worldwide.

Cozy Cab is now part of Custom Products of Litchfield in Litchfield, MN

We have a cab setting in West Central Missouri.
Let me know. I can send pics. GG Wes

They likely were sold here or they wouldn’t have submitted it for the Nebraska test. No need to go through the trouble and expense of testing it if they never planned on selling that model in the State of Nebraska.

If they were sold here, they're extraordinarily rare, definitely a lot rarer than cozy cabs. I was asking a family member who worked at a Ford dealership when the 3600s were being sold and he never saw a single one with the factory cab, and I've only seen maybe two 3600s online with the factory cab that weren't euro models.
