My son as recently located a 'ROCKY" lawn mower built at Galveston, Indiana, Any body no when it might have built or any other history for "ROCKY" It is a small rider with a very different cast aluminum deck, It looks like it has a Wisconsin motor directly under the seat. THANKS

My father worked for Rocky's lawn service around 1959. He was 19. My mother was just telling me this story this morning, I did a Google search and ended up here with your question! Couldn't find anything else about him. Rocky rebuilt and repaired lawn mowers in Galveston in the 50s and 60s. By mom's account, he was a really nice guy and very kind to my young newlywed parents. They rented a little house near Galveston from him for several years. I have a photo of them together. I don't know much more than that.
