    2590 has filter light on when cold

    Ran a manual gauge on it and check pressures and sure enough it takes awhile for the fluid to warm up and then it's fine it's 25 to 30 PSI. Everything works when this happens, but the pump has a lot more noise to it like it's got air in it. Is it possible that that lower pump inside the tranny...

    Magneto kill switch with negative ground

    I'm converting my Farmall B with a magneto to a 12v system with negative ground. My understanding is that 12 vs 6 volt does not affect the magnetos ability to function as it is independent of the battery. Should I still connect the kill switch to ground to shut off the tractor and or does...

    Thanks for the response! The only problem I was thinking was in extremely cold weather It would be to thick.     190xt rear end oil

    Doing a fluid change on the old tractor. I know that the rear end is spec`ed to have hydraulic fluid in it. I am thinking of putting a 80w gear oil instead. I just couldn`t see any reason why this wouldn`t be better for the rear end. Any thoughts, gentlemen?
