I had the same problem. 1950 8n, Serial#267611. I had multiple problems simultaneously. Ignition switch was bad and replaced. Insulator (thick piece of paper) inside distributor that connects copper strip from condenser to bolt/wire going outside to coil, was worn and grounding out and replaced...- 1658Dutch

I bought a Ford industrial tractor with loader and backhoe. I was told I should change the hydraulic filter and fluid. I cannot find a manual on the process. Other than changing the filter, do I just drain and refill the reservoir or is there a process of draining and flushing? -

Does anyone know the listed engine RPM that is optimal for the operation of a Ford 723 series backhoe? I am unable to find a manual that will give that information.
