    Help id block #310609

Thanks Sean, this engine has stripped gears both front and back. I noticed the balancer is laying inside the oil pan. I hate to think what all else is bad. I'll probably part it out.

    Help id block #310609

I have a block only with #310609 and it's a diesel. From what archives have posted it appears to be a 172 engine. Is this correct and why so many variations of the same size block?

    801 Pistons

Now I'll admit my mistakes. My 6015j had broken lands between the rings so of course being old cheap and tight I decided to rob the 6015g of its pistons so now it's time to redo it all. Gonna have to break out the glasses to take a closer look at that G. I'll keep posting with pics. The paint...

    801 Pistons

I have 2 801's both are diesels. One has the 6015J and the other is the 6015g. I'm wondering if the pistons are interchangeable?

    135/35 hood swap?

Doesn't seem that long ago when Tony came down to Ga, to visit. Can't remember that model Massey he had that was a bear to crank.

    Jubilee Head gasket

Thank you for those measurements. I was directed to parts store by the machine shop but he didn't provide size nor name of part.

    Jubilee Head gasket

The bubbling was due to head warpage. Had it shaved and now on to fix the temp sensor location next to the battery box. It's rusted to the point the sensor slides through. Then on to fix front seal and to replace the rear hubs.

    Jubilee Head gasket

My jubilee was bubbling water all along the right side of the head. The old head gasket has the left front large water jacket covered completely and so does my new gasket. Why would it be this way> Someone said the purpose is to direct more to the back of the block. Is this normal? Thanks.

Z134 continental engine oil pump replacement

Now that I think about it I think the front timing cover may have to come off.

Z134 continental engine oil pump replacement

Yes but you must unbolt front end enough to gain space to remove oil pan.

    What model is this

No doubt in my mine that's definitely a 2 axle.

    Not Starting

How do you change these injectors and how to do compression test? I have a 135 with indirect injectors an it's much harder to bleed than this one.

    Not Starting

Mine has the 3 cover plates just below the exhaust. The injectors stand straight up with 2 studs per injector and 2 hold down nuts, then the top part of injector has threads half way down which would require removal of studs to replace. I think a pic would better explain. Thanks.

    Not Starting

Just gave it one tiny shot of starter fluid an it runs!

    Not Starting

My 35 direct injection diesel started sounding like giving out of fuel and after adding it wouldn't start. I bled everything and getting good fuel to the injectors but still no luck. I'm thinking either rings or valves. Would like to do a compression test but injectors look to be held in with...
