    JD 2940 , Slow, Jittery 3-Point lift. How does one make the 3-point lift faster? It is extremely slow and makes brush hog a pain when it hits a dirt clump and you cant lift it fast enough.

    What are the typical systems pressure for a John Deere R-134a A/C Unit ? I charged a 4455 yesterday and had the low side at 10 psi. Never checked the hi-side. Cooled really well with a low side of 10 psi. The saturation temp of 40 degrees (ideal for AC) is 35 psi. If I were to bring it up to...

    8400 lighting questions and hopefully answers

    I installed LED lights on the belt line and on the front cab roof. Now it would be really great to have them both on at the same time. Any ideas or suggestions as to how to get these two lightings groups to be on at the same time ?

    6400 starts up and has no hydraulics

    Every once in awhile my 6400 at start up will not have any hydraulics, but when you shut it immediately off and start it up again it will work fine. Any information of enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

    4455 Water in fuel tank

    Long story short , the tractor was sitting by the fuel barrel and got filled with fuel but the cap wasn"t put on when a storm came in. The tank did get some water. I am not a 4455 guru. Do these have water separators? Any opinions on how to address this would be greatly appreciated

    JD 720,730 gear box ????

    I was just told that there were 3 different gear boxes made, and the one where 2nd gear is above reverse it the most saught after because it has the fastest gears. Is this true ? School me on them if it is .

    Models I Should Look At

    I agree with the II new gen tractors or the sound guard series. The quad range is a great transmissions, and the 4020s are becoming highly priced for the work they can do .

    8110 vs 7820

    I don't know what an auto power quad is , but iv drove a 7720 with a power quad . It had electronic issues, it would free wheel when idling down to enter a drive way for instance. Just my experience. I really like the full powershift in the 8110.
