    Rockshaft return oil pipe 4020

    I can't get fittings loose on rockshaft return pipe. The one on the left side of transmission. The nut is stuck to the pipe and will bend pipe if I try any harder. Tried tapping with a hammer to loosen but that didn't help. Maybe heat the nut? Anyone have any tricks that might help? Thanks

    I acquired a 380 forklift and can't seem to find a place to check hydralic oil level. It's different than the older 480. I have a book that tells how to take it apart but no indication on where to check oil level at . Anyone on here know?

    3010 LP shut-off valves

    I rebuilt shut off valves and few years ago and at least one of them doesn't stop the flow of fuel anymore. Is there a better valve that would be more reliable?

    I'm looking for contact info of a machinist that I talked to at the Classic Green Reunion. He lived near Waterloo, Iowa and had valves that would work on my 620Lp. I believe he also had fuel gauge for my 420tlp.

    72 4020 diesel water pump

    Most deere water pumps I've worked on have a small wire keeper to properly locate water pump bearing. This one does not. Looks like you push bearing in till it's flush and that's it. Pump housing #r41315

    John Deere 490 planter help

    You need a book for rate chart. You can shift gears on the transmission and maybe sprockets on the transmission drive.. The seed plates also needs to be right. Seed bags used to have recommended plate on a chart. That's the planter we used up till the late 70s.

    3020 govener surging

    3020 gas hunts or surges under light loads. It seems to pull like a freight train if you load it heavily ( stepping on brakes). Linkage is free between throttle shaft and govener . Is there an adjustment to make govener less sensitive? Any ideas?? Thanks
