    Did John Deere ever put manual steering on the 530?

    Oliver White (Color)

    Get a quart of Rustoleum white and a quart of John Deere green. Add just a little of the green in the white till it colors it just a little. The Agco paint is too expensive and hard to use. The Rustoleum paint will last a long time.

    To me this would be a waste of your time and money to restore this backhoe attachment. Of course it is no worse than these people that spend several thousand dollars on one of those so called backhoes for their oversized lawn tractors.

    1655 clutch

    Replacing the clutch on my 1655 diesel. Would like to your opinions on the button type clutch plate verses the standard plate and the diaphragm pressure plate verses the standard pressure plate. I will be using this tractor mainly for round baling.

    Check your operators manual for the location of the fuse that is blown. There are several fuses on a block.

    Looks like this was a bad purchase. What I have is the 6 cylander diesel. The engine is frozen and it is hard to tell what else it may need. Thanks to all for your comments.
