Anti-Freeze PH Test

How does everyone test the ph on their anti-freeze and what do you use for conditioner since John Deere does not sell the test kits or conditioner?

While it has been awhile I looked at the test kits at my local dealer didn't buy as they were expired. They also sold the coolant conditioner. Maybe they don't offer these products anymore or maybe your dealer just doesn't order them and sell them from Deere ? NAPA should still sell the conditioner. Maybe the test kits also ? Last test strips I got from a Baldwin filter distributor.

I was never pleased with using those strips. So I plumbed in a filter on the one diesel engine which had been a problem. I change the filter (which contains additive) when I change oil, and have had no problems.

NAPA has (or had) test strips but be sure to check the expiration date before you buy them. They also had (have) additive.
