    Hello, I went out to use my 46 and it started up but I had not opened the fuel shut off and it ran 2 sec and died. opened the shutoff and tried to re start, nothing. waited and tried again, shot some diesel in the air pipe still no start. Any ideas?

    That idea got me to think of a new clip. found a piece if metal that would slide under the clip on the hood , bent a 90 on it and formed a hook around a piece of 1/4 rod. painted and bent the tab that slides thru to hold it in place. almost looks factory
